What Are We Going to Do Now?

Full suitcases line our living room floor. Over a dozen messages on my answering machine. Mail stacked two feet high on my desk. 200 emails call out to me.

After 2 days of driving, 10 hours each day, we’re home.

We could spend today catching up.

Instead, we’re going to Disneyland.

Nothing like a little avoidance of responsibility. 🙂

Here we come Mickey!

Wow, to be able to just up and go to Disneyland. Can you say totally green with envy?

It would take us a year to plan and save for something like that. Of course, I’m on the other side of the continent and in another country.

Enjoy the day and say Hi to Goofy for me if you haven’t already left.

  2. Kimberly Says:

Why not? It will all still be there tomorrow, and you’ll be better able to face it after reconnecting as a family and a couple.

Sheri – Thanks! We did see Goofy, but the kids wouldn’t let me get close enough to talk to him. We go to D-land a lot. Hubby works for Disney. It’s one of the perks to get in free and get discounts and such. The downside? We get inundated with Disney commercialization. Don’t say “High School Music II” near my husband if you don’t want to see him all riled up. 😛

Kim – So true, so true. It was indeed still there when we got back. I was super tired, but at least I didn’t feel like I was waiting around all day for Yoshi to come home from London. As it was, we got home and not an hour later, he arrived home. Was perfect.
