No Swimming for You!

The swimming nazi has invaded Utah. All public pools are closed to children 5 and under.

Well, at least they aren’t making public pool attendance mandatory for 6 and older.

(Note: This post is relevant because we are staying in Richfield, Utah, on our way home to California. We picked this hotel because of it’s indoor pool.)

Bummer about your vacation. I have to wonder, are they banning all children under age five from ingesting fresh produce as well?

Be glad. I had crypto not for a few weeks but for months, and ended up bedridden. My weakened state also allowed me to pick up a few other nasty bugs and accumulate some hefty medical bills. Bad stuff. You wouldn’t wish it on your worst enemy.

dancingmom – Good question. I think their reasoning was that kids under 5 have a higher likelihood of pooping and peeing the pool, or not wiping at the toilet before going in the pool. It’s for the safety of everyone else, not the necessarily the ones that have been banned. Makes sense. Frustrating tho.

Tara – Gah! Sorry to hear that you got so sick. Sounds almost like mono. Or pneumonia. Is it highly contagious?
