Learning for the Future, Learning for Today

Imagine growing up where you can try all kinds of different jobs, learn the basics on the way, and when you find that vocation that’s “just right”, you can work on that as much as you want, until you are ready to move on to the next thing. And, for the rest of your life, continue to be in this frame of mind – “I always have the freedom, and capability, to explore new avenues, and grow.”

Well, that’s pretty darn close to how this whole zen-schooling works.

I just came up with that term while I was typing. I like it. A lot.

Zen schooling.  “When the student is ready, the teacher will appear.”
