Don’t Sweat the Small Stuff Author Dies

Richard Carlson, author of the Don’t Sweat the Small Stuff series, died suddenly of a heart attack Wednesday, December 13th, while on tour to promote his new book.

If you haven’t read his books, they will inspire to live a more calm and appreciative life, including all those homeschooling worries and stresses. He was the master of living life to its fullest. It’s sad that of all the people of the world to die early, he’s one of them.

We all have no idea how long we’re going to be here. In life, it’s all small stuff, so don’t sweat it.

He may have been better prepared than most. At least he wasn’t spending his time worrying and putting up with crap on the assumption he could do all the fun stuff when he retired.
