I had a chance to volunteer at the info desk Sunday morning. It was mostly quiet during Jill Boone’s session. But I had a chance to talk with a few more people during my last conference-related duty. The rest of the morning, the kids, hubby and I relaxed on the craft and games decks. After one final round through the vendor hall, we headed back to our room to check out and start our drive to San Francisco where we planned to meet a friend for the evening.
All in all, we enjoyed the conference. It was a seemless program of insight, projects, networking and entertainment. What’s great, is that each year, as the kids grow, and as we grow as a homeschooling family, we’ll be interested in doing different things. So, no matter how often we go, we’ll have a different experience each time.
I highly recommend conferences. They are inspirational no matter where you are in your homeschooling journey.
