What the Hell Is Unschooling?

I think it’s awesome. So much passion, and wild curiosity.
And it would make one punchy book title.

Hey, Super Homeschool Mom! Diane Rehm show today….all about homeschooling and a little about CA. I did not get to hear all of it, but I half expected to hear you call in!

Ha! Sounds like me five years ago. I also tend to type silly things into Google. Well, since that person ended up here, at least we know they are getting great info! Here’s a tip, mention the word “sex” once or twice and you end up with lots of crazies finding you through search engines. Also, one of the search queries I found for my site was “dirty socks”. I think I may have mentioned my husbands feet one time (which should be quarantined)!

Hey Anna! - You know, I don’t know who Diane Rehm is. So, in proper homeschooler style, I looked her up. I hadn’t heard she was doing a show. Did anyone from HSC or CHN speak on it?
April - A friend of mine who is a great writer, and a great blogger, suggested I add “sex” into the title of one of my blog posts. I’m not sure though, who would look up “sex” and “homeschool” in the same search? I don’t want to know. And, someone found you with “dirty socks”? I wonder what they were looking for.

I noticed a while back that I was #1 and #3 on Google for Naked Homeschooling. After I blogged that little fact I was #1 and #2

I managed to hear exactly one line from the Diane Rehm show today, and it was some educational expert going on about how anecdotal evidence is not useful in an assessment of the efficacy of homeschooling. Heading to the website now to listen to the rest. I hope it isn’t too painful.
